With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Moorman opened his private practice in 2003 to provide comprehensive counseling services to those in Tysons, Fairfax, Ashburn and other northern Virginia areas. He also wanted to offer a place where doctoral students and master students could come after graduation and develop the additional skills needed to become professional counselors themselves.

Couple Therapy

While Dr. Moorman offers counseling in a variety of areas, he has spent the last twenty-five years furthering his skillset and advancing his training for couples. Moorman offers couples therapy in Fairfax Virginia, Ashburn, and Tysons Virginia where he believes in developing a strong foundation for couples that strengthens their relationship and helps them to feel close to one another.

He also offers conjoint counseling, a unique approach to couples therapy, in which he provides co-counseling alongside his wife, Dr. Adi Moorman. In this approach, Dr. Moorman and his wife, Dr. Adi Moorman, work with each partner individually, and also see the couple together conjointly, ensuring that each partner’s needs are heard and attended to in the course of therapy.
